An Overlooked TRUTH About Personal Branding

I talk a lot about how important it is to build trust with your prospects. It’s the #1 thing you can do to attract the right people and actually turn them into customers.?

Because if someone doesn’t trust you? They won’t buy. Case closed.?

That means we need to do everything we can to create a trusting, authentic relationship with potential clients.

Often when it comes to building trust, though, our thoughts jump straight to the messages that we’re actively sending to prospects… emails, direct messages, the kind of outreach where we’re speaking directly to them. And it’s really important to craft those messages to build trust.?

But there’s another way to build trust. And it’s often overlooked because it doesn’t feel as direct. It’s not the one-to-one communication that we’re so familiar with.?

However, this trust mechanism has a tremendous impact on your relationship with prospects. Because it’s out there sending signals 24/7. It’s like a lighthouse beacon constantly letting people know that they’re safe to proceed.?

Now, you might be thinking that I’m talking about your website. Or your social media presence. And if so, then you’re close.?

But I’m actually talking about something much bigger than that.?

It’s the thing that affects your website…

Your social presence…

Your outreach efforts…

ALL of your messaging efforts really.?

So what is it??

Your personal brand. And it’s one of the best ways to build trust with your prospects. It gets them to pay attention and makes them excited to work with you.?

Unfortunately, much of the advice out there about branding is designed for the big faceless corporations. And it’s not that much help for service-based businesses or coaches, consultants, and course creators.?
