Apryl, without warning, requested a cancellation of the order. The freelancer was taken aback. Despite all the effort and time invested, Apryl claimed she no longer needed the portfolio and insisted on canceling the order. It seemed like a weak excuse, and the freelancer couldn't understand why she would make such a sudden decision.
Despite the disappointment, the freelancer tried to communicate with Apryl, explaining the effort and quality of the work that had been done. They hoped to find a resolution that would acknowledge the time and creativity spent on the project. However, Apryl was firm in her decision and proceeded with the cancellation, leaving the freelancer without compensation for their hard work.
This incident was a harsh reminder of the unpredictable nature of freelance work. Many times, clients cancelled such projects to whom I had dedicated my efforts to come out gorgeous but in the middle of the process, clients just ruined everything. I assume that the lower the cost of the project, the more the risks are, especially on Fiverr
