I meet a lot of Talented people.
It is not uncommon for me to tell them that they could turn their talents into a career or business if they wanted to.
However, there are many times that I met with, "I can't because..."
There are a wide variety of Reasons that people will give me, and often they are legitimate Reasons.
Reasons aren't "always" legitimate, but I know the Challenges of the world today and I know how difficult Life can be.
If they don't want to pursue that path, that I get.
But my words today are for those who "would" like to pursue whatever path that they say they can't pursue.
The immediate response of, "I can't because..." is extremely problematic.
Now, again, I'm not saying that whatever Reasons you have are not legitimate.
You may very well have real legitimate Obstacles that exist currently.
The problem though is "how" we say things.
See, if our "immediate" response is something, we are not questioning it, we are not considering it, we are not thinking it through.
It is a reaction, and it reveals a Deep Seeded Belief.
You can't.
See, our Brains have a few different functions that can either Benefit us or work against us.
One function is a desire to preserve Energy (Mg-ATP).
Our Brains will do just about anything to use as little Energy as possible.
So, if you find you are responding to things immediately, you are likely revealing a Deeply Seeded Belief, and it may be one that you aren't even aware of or questioning because the Brain is preserving Energy (Mg-ATP).
That is a Belief - You Can't.
The Reality is that if you TRULY have a Skill or Talent in something, You "Could".
Maybe not immediately of course, but that doesn't mean "Can't".
It just means "not yet" or "not right at this moment".
But "Can't" is a hard determination, it is a Belief that You don't have that mystical "it".
But is that true?
I know for the people that I talk to, when I say they have the Talent, I MEAN it fully.
They DO have the Talent.
What they do NOT have is the Belief in themselves.
Now, another function of our Brain is that it will look to justify anything that we ask it to.
In a way, it functions similarly to a Google Search.
If you tell it to look for a certain type of car, you'll begin to see that car EVERYWHERE!
If you tell it to look for a certain product, you'll begin to see that product EVERYWHERE!
It is a function of how the Brain works.
It finds whatever you ask it to find.
However, this can become a Problem when you combine it with Deeply Seeded Beliefs you are unaware of.
So, if you have the Deep Seeded Belief that "You Can't", your Brain's Search Engine will begin to give you ALL the Reasons that "You Can't".

Just like a Google Search, it will provide as MUCH Data as possible.
It may even turn events in your Life that have NOTHING to do with this as justification - kind of like Fake News.
It may end up as a thought like, "Oh yeah, you remember that time in second grade when that thing happened that has nothing to do with any career? That's probably another reason why you can't do this either!"
It might sound silly, but it happens very frequently!
Your Brain will use that information, even the "Fake News" it designs, to make you Believe things more deeply and further use Less Energy on the Belief.
So, as you can see, when these two aspects of our Brains combine, we create a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy.
You Can't because you continuously convince yourself You Can't, which leads to the predictable Result that you Don't, which only "Proves" more deeply that You Can't.
However, we don't have to fall victim to the Self-Fulfilling Vicious Circle.
With an understanding of how the Brain functions, we can actually Overcome this problem.
The first thing you need to do is Identify what these Deep Seeded Beliefs are - they usually reveal themselves when you give quick responses and later think, "It would be nice though".
Once you notice the Belief, you then gain the Power to Question the Belief.
Is it "True"?
There is a HUGE difference between "I Can't" and "I Can't Yet..."
One is a Determination, the other is a Path.
Determinations can't be "argued" with.
If you say something like, "Well, I could if...", then the Belief isn't True!
Then, we can bring in our Brains Search Engine.
I could do it if...
That is a different type of Search, and the Brain will give you all the answers it can.
If I had this...
If I got that...
I just need to do...
These begin to Reveal a Path toward what you want.
This becomes extremely Powerful if you continuously keep the Search Engine looking for ways to attain what you're looking for.
The Reality of Life is that there are MANY Opportunities that exist that can help us make Progress toward nearly any Goal we want.
The largest Problem in the way of most people "isn't" that Opportunities don't exist, but rather that the Brain isn't "looking" for Opportunities.
When you get the Brain to look, suddenly you'll find MANY Opportunities around you.
Sometimes it may actually end up being "too many" Opportunities and you at some point may need to readjust the Search Engine.
This is what you need to understand though.
If you TRULY have a talent or skill, realize that there is NOTHING in the world that can prevent you from using it to Accomplish incredible things.
Maybe you have legitimate Obstacles, many people do.
But don't let the Obstacles dictate your Life.
The Brain will find ways around, over, under, and sometimes through the Obstacles.
Given enough Time and Determination, no Obstacle can stop us.
