As a recovering alcoholic, bulimic, and overachiever, I understand the constant battle with depression, doubt, fear, and anxiety. But here's the thing – for 25 years, I've found solace and strength in simple exercises/practices that help to silence negativity and fuel my dreams, goals, and ambitions. 1. Gratitude Prayer: Start by thanking the universe (God, Buddha, whomever you pray to) for every person, place, and blessing in your life. It shifts your focus from darkness to light.

2. Meditation for Clarity: Whether guided or silent, meditation opens doors to a new way of thinking. It breaks negative cycles and fosters inner peace.

3. Movement as Medicine: Physical activity isn't just about fitness but mental health. Moving your body sparks joy, disrupts negative patterns, and fuels positivity.

And let's not forget – seeking help is a sign of courage, not weakness. If depression ever tries to dim your light, know that support is just a reach away. You're not alone in this journey.
