  • The Final Placement Cycle is often too long, as a result, there is limited time to focus on summer internship planning and quality projects for students.

Institute can connect with the industry experts and alumni in the respective domain and provide detailed session for students to understand the various career options for students in their area of specialization. There are various psychometric tools also available in the market, these tests are often used to help individuals identify potential careers that would be a good fit for their unique combination of skills and interests. The career development cell/Trainers /Faculty members can also provide guidance on how to network with potential employers, prepare resumes and cover letters, and ace job interviews.
  2. Plan ahead: Plan ahead and finalize internships for all students at least 2-3 months before the start date. This will ensure that students are offered high-quality projects that align with their interests and skills.????

Faculty Mentor: Ensure a right faculty mentor is assigned to the students based on their expertise and experience in the area of internship project.?Also, ensure regular faculty mentoring during internships, offering guidance and feedback to students on project progress, problems, and challenges. Regular communication between the faculty, the student, and the industry mentor can help to ensure that the student is on track to achieving their goals and objectives.?
