Overcoming Boxed Definitions with a Gender Neutral Fashion Platform

Overcoming Boxed Definitions with a Gender Neutral Fashion Platform

It is an era of the absence of definitions. And despite what marketing may teach us about personas, the era of stereotyping is also languishing. These things seem fundamentally archaic in the almost mid 2000s. Almost akin to zodiacs and horoscopes, which seem to define people only into 12 personality types, affecting consequently what people do, wear, and fundamentally influence what they become. A simple testament comes from the fashion world, where things are slightly more liberal. Check out the increasingly gender fluid lines of fashion hitting the runway every season.

Art is art, and it's always a thrill to be a part of it. In today’s progressive times in need of resistance, a noteworthy outlook brings me to Print All Over Me (PAOM). A platform that brings digitally printed outfits to reality with a host of collaborations from artists to musicians to scientists to retailers. An online retailer with enough sass and whimsy for the most discerning of people, like me! The site is the perfect place to get anything you wish for, and pair it in wild, wacky and different ways. Focused on sustainable fashion giving fair wages and health benefits to studio employees in Shanghai, the charitable element was most humble too. Shop here.

Truly it’s time to pour acid on definitions and boxes that tend to confine us more than they define us. Starting with this tale of fashion, let’s hope that this idea permeates other barriers too.
