Over Half of Online Shoppers Hold out for Sales Season

New research from CouriersPlease has found that Click Frenzy, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday sales will see 53% of Australian online shoppers bring their holiday spending ahead this year to secure bargain gifts.

  • 35% of online shoppers will do most of their Christmas shopping during Black Friday sales.
  • 18% will do most of their shopping during Click Frenzy and Cyber Monday.
  • 21% have said they will do their shopping in mid December.

"Retailers would be wise to target their Black Friday sales to Christmas gift buyers to successfully compete for a share of wallet."
