The over charging debate continues...

It seems my previous post on the subject of Mobile (contract) pricing might have ruffled a few feathers. It's all good. The UK Mobile industry needs to look at itself and anything that helps us to do this (like yboo!) is a good thing.
Have a look at my account (above) and tell me what you see? I'm out of contract and have been since last November, almost a year ago.
Here's what I see;
- I'm paying 24.16 a month (pre VAT) assuming I don't incur 'out of bundle' charges
- With less than 8 days to go before my allowance is refreshed, I've got 3.5GB of data left. In other words, I should be a tariff with 2GB of inclusive data, not 5GB
- The 'market value' of my usage profile (above) is actually £12.50/month including VAT
- As a Consumer, I am not being put first. I am overpaying by c£16 a month
- Based on the principle above, with an estimated 3 million consumers in the same situation, O2 is collecting overpayments of 48 million pounds a month. This excludes non Refresh customers
This is exactly why we built yboo. A machine that does the hard work for you and tells you which Network and mobile deal is really best (cheapest) for you.
