Over 40% drop in English Premier League stars

When the Premier League began back in 1992, 78% of players were English. Now in 2016, the percentage of English players has radically dropped to 38%.

World records were broken this summer when Premier League clubs spent a staggering ￡1.3 billion on transfers.

A report released by the Reckless Agency revealed how England's top tier division has become the most diverse league in world football. 

The summer of 2016 will be remembered for the reintroduction of Paul Pogba to the global franchise that has become Manchester United.

While at the same time, England's golden boy Joe Hart was shipped off to Torino, a mediocre Serie A side that probably won't mount a title challenge. 

In their findings, Reckless also concluded that out of all English cities, Liverpool is the one to produce the most Premier League players. 

Outside of London, Yorkshire is the county to provide the most top flight stars while France is the biggest international contributor of Premier League talent outside of England.
