Over $139 million in transactions as Reverion secures Series A funding & other news from cleantech firms

Reverion Secures $62 Million to Build Carbon-Negative Power Plants

Reverion, a German-based company developing reversible carbon-negative power plants, has raised $62 million in an oversubscribed Series A round, including non-dilutive funding. The round was led by Energy Impact Partners (EIP) and participated in by Honda, the European Innovation Council Fund (EIC Fund), Extantia Capital, UVC Partners, Green Generation Fund, Doral Energy-Tech Ventures, and Possible Ventures.?

Reverion’s high-temperature fuel cell system can achieve up to 80% efficiency in power generation and store renewable gases, like green hydrogen, while capturing CO2 to enable carbon-negative energy production. Battolyser Systems Secures $33.3 Million Series A to Scale Hydrogen Technology

Battolyser Systems, a Netherlands-based company developing the world’s only electrolyser with battery functionality for low-cost green hydrogen production, raised $33.3 million in a Series A round led by Global Cleantech Capital, Innovation Industries, and Invest-NL.?

The funding will support scaling operations and launching its next-generation 2.5MW and 5MW electrolysers in 2025. This Series A follows a $44.4 million financing agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB). tem, a UK-based AI platform enabling businesses to buy energy directly from renewable generators, has raised $13.86 million in a Series A round led by Atomico, with participation from AlbionVC, Revent, and angel investors Holly and Sam Branson, Wise CTO Harsh Sinha, and CPO Nilan Peiris.?

PowerX Raises $17.47 Million in First Half of Series C to Expand Battery Energy Storage Solutions

PowerX, a Japan-based energy storage company, has raised $17.47 million in the first half of its Series C funding round through a third-party allotment. The round includes new investments from Toda Corporation, SMBC Nikko Securities Inc., and a financial institution, along with additional investments from existing shareholders such as Frontive Holding, Spiral Capital, and Chugin Capital Partners.?

Elum Energy Secures $13 Million in Series B to Expand Renewable Energy Management Solutions

Elum Energy, a France-based provider of advanced energy management solutions for renewable systems, has raised $13 million in a Series B round led by Energize Capital. Existing investors Alter Equity and Cota Capital participated. The funds will support Elum’s global expansion, including a U.S. launch and further development of its energy storage and EV integration products.?
