U.S. DOE Selects Group14 for Up to $200M Award Negotiation to Construct a U.S. Silane Factory

Group14 has been selected by U.S. Department of Energy for an award negotiation of up to $200M to build a new silane factory in Moses Lake, Washington, to help secure the U.S. silicon battery industry. This state-of-the-art factory is expected to produce 7,200 metric tons of silane gas annually – a key raw material for next-generation silicon batteries. The project is expected to create more than 300 jobs to construct the silane plant and retain 150 employees to commission, ramp up, and sustain production. Learn More
