As we approach the last month of the year, it’s a good time to reflect on accomplishments and express gratitude. At OutSystems, we are so grateful for our amazing developer community and their continued achievements and innovations.

We celebrated this month at Developer Day Lisbon, gathering more than 500 developers to see the latest updates on all things OutSystems. The fun continues with Developer Day Washington, D.C., happening on December 3.

We are also excited to share that the OutSystems Developer Cloud Community Forge pilot program is successfully underway, with multiple Forge components now published. If you are interested in building Forge components in ODC for the community, apply for the program here.

Finally, we have launched a new area of our website dedicated to developers. This is a great resource for showcasing the power of OutSystems to developers new to the platform. Let us know what you think!

2. ODC Expands to UAE and Seoul | ODC is now available in both the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and South Korea (Seoul) regions. This will allow organizations to build and deploy apps in these regions with reduced latency while simultaneously supporting data residency needs.
3. Workflows - New language elements and public roles | The Workflow Editor now includes powerful new language elements, enabling even greater customization and control over business processes. Additionally, Human Activities can now be assigned to specific roles for more streamlined task management.
4. ODC Supports DORA Compliance | ODC now offers the capabilities and documentation needed for applications to meet Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) requirements. Starting in January 2025, financial institutions in the European Union are required to meet DORA requirements.
5. Faster troubleshooting and valuable insights with web app usage data | Gaining insights into user behavior is essential for refining your app and delivering an exceptional user experience. We’re excited to announce new user experience data in the Analytics tab on the ODC Portal.
