Hello connections,
I’m delighted to share an outstanding display of innovative thinking from the students of SNS College of Allied Health Sciences!
Acknowledging an "Outstanding Display of Innovative Thinking" encourages individuals or teams to continue pushing boundaries, exploring new ideas, and driving positive change. It recognizes the value of creativity, originality, and innovation in solving complex problems and creating new opportunities. Demonstrating innovative thinking within a company involves volunteering solutions, researching industry trends, documenting creative ideas, executing your ideas, sharing them with stakeholders, collaborating with colleagues, and testing new ideas.
Our first-year B.Sc. Cardiac Technology students—Iswarya I., Heeba M., Subasri V., and Dhanusree C.—recently showcased their remarkable project at the National Level Technical Fest held at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education.
Their 3D model of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) - is a common heart disease that occurs when the arteries that supply blood to the heart narrow. Captivated the audience by simulating the complexities of CAD, highlighting risk factors, management strategies, and recent technological advancements in intervention-based treatments.
CHD can be managed effectively with a combination of lifestyle changes, medicine and, in some cases, surgery. With the right treatment, the symptoms of CHD can be reduced and the functioning of the heart improved. Their insights on lifestyle modifications for CAD prevention and the benefits of minimally invasive interventions over traditional surgery were well received and greatly appreciated.
Participating in such events not only fosters healthy competition but also encourages collaborative learning and provides students with valuable experience in presenting research to a wider audience. Kudos to the team for their impressive work! Wishing them continued success in their academic and professional journey.
