Outlook App coming to Desktop

Microsoft is finally bringing one of the best features of its Outlook mobile app to the desktop. Users of Outlook on Mac and Windows will start seeing their inbox separated out into two tabs: Focused and Other.
The irony is that I did this myself years ago with some of the macro's in Outlook but it was an utter failure. I created another folder called cc and anything that I was carbon copied on was moved into the cc folder. This did greatly improve my over-all productivity but then I got lazy and stopped reading the emails in the cc folder, or at least from every 5 minutes to every day. Then I would routinely get 'didn't you get my email from my co-workers' and to make matters worse I would then try to search for the item but couldn't see it because it was in another folder not my main folder.
After this I removed all subfolders for customers and my cc so I could focus on the string of communication from one person or easily search by any context.
My perfect vision of this product is that I receive only 10 emails at a time, 8 are deemed important and 2 are the 'other' and once I have read them and action-ed these emails. I get 10 more of the same split until I'm clear. Obviously more of the 'other' emails would start to fill up in the same bucket. Or it maybe Outlook will provide a '*' filter up at the top to easily toggle on or off the important messages.
I guess we'll see.
