Out of Stock

“If you want me to do things only for ROI reasons, you should get out of the stock.” ?
I stumbled into this Tim Cook beauty back in 2015. ?
He first murmured the words in a Q&A session with stakeholders in 2014.?
It’s hard to believe Cook has now been Apple's CEO for 14 years.
That’s almost double the tenure of most CEO’s.
Cook’s quip above reminded me that we all have a choice on what we invest in (and what we don't). It also lets me know Cook is willing to do the right thing — not just a move to make money.?
Every day, you make choices deciding how you use your dollars:
? what you eat
? what you wear
? what you support
??who?you invest in?
Today, as I “take stock” of what stocks I have in my portfolio, I am proud to have #Apple in my portfolio.?
I have also made the choice this week to move on from #Tesla.
While I know there are many folks at Tesla who remain passionate about their mission of?accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy, I won't support what I can see from their #CEO with my own money.?
Are you investing your time and money in products, people and brands who truly align with your values?
Take stock in what you're investing in. Take stock of who you are investing in.
