The Birth of a Vision

One year prior, we conceptualized a venture termed Out Quarters . As with any significant endeavor, we encountered challenges. The primary obstacle was financial resources. Yet, as the adage suggests, "Where there is a will, there is a way." Owing to the invaluable assistance of our esteemed colleagues from Caritas Italiana and the dedicated contributions of the founder of #BorgoDeiSaraceni Antonino Voza and his partner, the architect Azzurra Meligeni from Agropoli, our vision progressively materialized.

Rowena’s Pop-In

Ivano Stella and Roberto Leonardi bumped into this superstar, Rowena (Ro) Hennigan . She's pretty much the future of work's rockstar and LinkedIn’s VIP.

Many consider her a guiding star in her industry, and she is highly esteemed on platforms like LinkedIn. Their first encounter was in Bulgaria, where they shared a friendly gesture of appreciation with a high-five. Later on, Rowena visited them in Cilento. There, she generously shared her valuable insights and advice on their project. Thanks to her contributions, the direction and impact of the project transformed dramatically for the better.

Launch Week: What a Rollercoaster!

Imagine this scenario: On a bright October day in the picturesque old town of Agropoli, which is perfect for taking stunning photos, we were enjoying the atmosphere. Suddenly, we recognized the need for a speedier internet connection. Fortunately, Starlink was there to support us.

Our week was filled with excitement and joy. With the assistance of our dear friend Anja von Emden from AGAIA Coliving , we participated in educational workshops, engaging activities, and accomplished many tasks. By the week's conclusion, our close-knit group had expanded, welcoming new members into our midst.

While the multitude of events, workshops, and activities, the heart and soul of Out Quarters was truly found in the bonds and relationships forged amongst its participants. One participant eloquently expressed this sentiment, saying, "Even though I've only been here a short time, it feels as though I've been acquainted with everyone for much longer."
