Out with the old and in with the new!

Hello!

I've taken a leap of faith and embarked on setting up my own newsletter. Why you say? There is a lot of conversation about the importance of mental health and wellbeing in the world right now - but there isn't much action. Correction - appropriate action.

As organisations struggle to grapple with the significant role that poor wellbeing has on their workforce and on society as a whole, there is a body of science on human performance, positive psychology, organisational behaviours amongst other disciplines that are crying out for businesses to adopt in order to enable evidence-based change. I'm lucky enough to have been on the journey of practitioner, to researcher, to consultant, to now leader of a TIME 100 Most Influential Company. I've learned a thing or two about how we can bridge the gap from research to practice which i'd love to share with you.

Dear Dr. Dale Whelehan, I fully agree with you that there is not much action around from companies worldwide. However, here in Brazil, a visionary and hands-on executive from Vockan Consulting is taking action and achieving great results. I am referring to Mr.Fabrício Oliveira, who is truly causing a revolution and challenging other executives to catch the vision in Brazil.
