Our Year in Giving: Liberty Mutual Foundation’s 2016 Giving Report

In 2016, the Liberty Mutual Foundation worked with an amazing group of nonprofit partners to impact the lives of some of our neighbors experiencing tremendous vulnerability.

We made 380 grants to help our community partners advance accessibility for people with disabilities; security for men, women and children who are homeless; and educational opportunity for children living in poverty.

It was also a milestone year for our employee giving program, Give with Liberty, which marked it’s 10th anniversary with an unheard of 72 percent of employees pledging $12.2 million to 8,317 charitable organizations. Combined with our corporate match, donations exceeded $18 million.

Yet our employees didn’t stop there. Through our employee service program, Serve with Liberty, a record 28,576 employees served alongside 888 domestic and international charities in 21 countries around the world.
