Our work for St. George's Crypt picks up three awards

Here at Few and Far we recently had the privilege of collaborating once again with our friends at St. George’s Crypt on an interactive piece to showcase 90 incredible years of the charity. When we chatted with the team, we wanted to make something informative, visually interesting and award-winning.

Sorting through gigabytes of old photographs and video footage plus huge folders of appeal leaflets - some that were 90 years old themselves - we compiled a definitive list of historical milestones for the charity which we then arranged by decade.

The end result is “Then & Now...” - A creative content piece packed full of fascinating content; from featuring their first ever appeal leaflet made in 1931, to being the BBCs first ever endorsed charity in 1948, to a royal visit in 1990, we think it makes for a really interesting journey and it seems the critics did too.

We're honoured to win three awards for the project since it debuted at Christmas; winning Honors and Mobile Excellence from Awwwards - The awards that recognise the talent and effort of the best web designers, developers and agencies in the world - and also winning the coveted Site of the Day award from design blog Mindsparkle Magazine in January.

We want to thank the jurors for their votes and for everyone who has both interacted with and donated to the charity via the project since its debut.
