Citizen Matters: Recommended reads for the week

Based on our online workshop, jointly conducted with ADDA and Bangalore Apartments' Federation (BAF) a couple of weeks ago, we published a set of comprehensive guides on how to maintain operational and electrical safety in a community swimming pool. Do not miss these, as they will ensure proactive mitigation of risks to life and limb at the pool, and by extension the possibility of legal action against pool (housing) management committees. In Chennai, our citizen journalists raise two very critical issues that pose threats to the life of citizens: unregulated flex banners and poor traffic control that leads to ambulances being held up. What can be done to address these issues?

Ganeshotsav was celebrated with much fervour in Mumbai and other cities last week.
