Our visit to a London food bank —?EcoSend Weekly

Forbes recently announced that email is ‘more effective than ever’.

WHICH ARTIST GENERATES THE MOST CO2 ON SPOTIFY?
There's a hidden environmental cost of streaming platforms
The artist with the biggest carbon footprint as a result of their music being listened to on streaming platforms has been revealed.?
According to a report by Utilities Now, the artist who generates 127.9 million kg of CO2 per year from their songs being streamed on Spotify is…
Taylor Swift.?
The report adds that Swifties on Spotify rack up the CO2 equivalent of taking 140,113 roundtrip flights from London to New York.
It would require almost 6 million trees to absorb this amount of CO2.?
Artists who also made the top 5 include Drake, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd and Ed Sheeran.?
Spotify didn’t comment on the report. However, the Spotify website claims the company aims to reach net zero emissions by 2030.
WE'VE BEEN BACK TO BOW FOODBANK
If you’re aware of how we do things here at EcoSend, then you’ll know that once a month we down tools to help others in our local community as part of our CSR efforts.
Our most recent CSR day took us to Bow Foodbank in London.?
During our shift, we packed and prepped food packages which will be offered to local residents over the next few days.?
This involved counting out the fruit and veg, before stacking it all up neatly in crates, ready to be collected in the afternoon.
It was a wonderful day, and we really enjoyed the opportunity to help out the local community, plus get to know some of the wonderful residents and volunteers of Bow.
This was our third time volunteering at this borough’s food bank, so we’d like to extend our thanks to The Bow Foodbank Ltd for allowing us back again to lend a hand!
