Having passed the 30-days-until-the-election mark, registration deadlines are upon us.
The deadline has already passed for would-be voters in 10 states. This week, people in North Carolina, New Mexico, Missouri, Idaho, Oklahoma, and Delaware will also be cut off from registering to vote. Text/email anyone you know in these states ASAP to help them be sure they're correctly registered!?Let’s get our Register to Vote playbook into as many hands as possible. The mighty Team Brooklyn knocked on 200+ doors in PA with a 40-50% open rate. They had wonderful conversations and helped folks make so many voting plans, register by mail, find polling stations, and talked key issues. GO TEAM!

Pennsylvania is a priority state because?its ballot will include highly-competitive, nested races, with clear climate candidates?for President, Senate, House, and down-ballot.?These voters can really support climate champs at all levels of government!
2024 ELECTION STAKES???? The direct costs of Project 2025?
According to Energy Innovation Policy and Technology LLC modeling, Project 2025 could raise household energy costs by $32 billion and cost the U.S. 1.7 million jobs and $320 billion in GDP – all in 2030. Now they’ve broken down the findings for each of the lower 48 states.
GOOD CLIMATE NEWS???? SCOTUS declines to block EPA methane rule?
The Supreme Court allowed Biden-Harris administration rules cutting methane emissions to stand, a rare win for environmental regulation. While legal challenges continue, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) can enforce the rule while underlying legal challenges continue (a process that could take years).
If successful,?emissions from oil and gas operations could be reduced by nearly 80% through 2038!?Read more.
