If there were 20 guys in a room and I went round and asked each of them what “success” meant, what sort of answers do you think I’d get?

“Money in the bank”

“Nice car”

“Powerful job”

“Big house”

They're the sort of things you’re supposed to want right? That’s what you’d say in front of a group of men.

But is that really what success looks like for you?

In part, maybe. But I reckon if I asked those 20 men the same question, but privately, NOT in front of their peers, the answers would be VERY different.

You see, while most of those things might be part of your “successful” life, I think if we’re honest, not many people would say they’re the core things.

I think what we really want is…TIME. FUN. IMPACT. FREEDOM.

Time. Not being busy, but having an abundance of time to invest how YOU choose.

Fun. Doing the things you love. That make you smile. That make it all worthwhile. The things that excite and energise you.

Impact. Serving and helping others. Creating change. Making the world a better place.?

Freedom. The ability to to do what you want, when you want, where you want, how you want and with whom you want.

Freedom to not have to answer to anyone. To do it YOUR way.?

Now of course having money in the bank goes a long way to being able to do all of the above.?And having a nice car and a big house, might be the trappings of that too.?

BUT they're not the core things.

Because it’s quite possible to have those things?AND still be miserable. Still be tied to your desk for too many hours a week. Still be stressed and tired.?Still spend more time with people you don’t really like at work than with those you love at home.

And to the outside world, that looks like success.

But it’s not. Not really.

I truly believe that success can’t be measured externally.

It’s not about how much “stuff” you’ve got, or how many people look up to you, or anything even remotely like that.

I spent years surrounded by people doing exactly that. To be honest, I was one of them.?Chasing success, but sacrificing the things that really mattered. Until I saw that success isn’t something you achieve by making yourself miserable

In fact it’s the exact opposite.

It’s when you make the conscious decision to get off the never ending merry go round of sameness and start living on your own terms. Spending your days as you see fit.

Enjoying life again. Enjoying your family again.

Working, but in a way that serves you (and enables you to truly serve others) rather than the other way round. For a fraction of the hours you currently do.?

“But Fraser, how could I possibly earn as much as I am now by working FEWER hours than I currently do?”

By discovering YOUR CALLING.

Unlearning what you know. Trusting your instinct.?Taking control of your own life and designing it the way you want it. And leading with who you are and being purposeful in all that you do.

That’s precisely what I did.

And for the last 10 years it’s been what I help other men do.

To do what you want when you want where you want how you want and with whom you want

To live a life you wouldn't trade for anything.
