Our selection for cohort 3 Misk accelerator powered by Plug & Play

We are delighted to announce that Arzag plus has been selected to participate in Cohort 3 of the Misk entrepreneurship program in partnership with plug and play !?

Okay that was formal , let's face it YAAAAAAAAAAA YYYYYYYYYYYY !!!!?

Its MISK , its PLUG AND PLAY , its SILICON VALLEY andddddd free advertising ! Isn't this the dream of every startup ??

So how did we get selected ?! it wasn’t luck , NOPE! It was 10 slides that took us a month of data collection , it was our growing traction ( line going up ) , it was the stellar team , It was the hours spent training to cram our achievements in a 4 minute pitch ! It was an awesome product that we spent the last year building .?

Even with all of that we feel small , we feel like it's just the beginning . We have the customers but we need the resources , we have coverage but we need the fleet . Dropping customers and cities because we are working on rapid growth is the main reason why we are here .

Okay now let's get formal and go back to reality .

Hello world ! We are a B2B HoReCa marketplace that connects suppliers with restaurants and cafes . Currently operating in KSA with a market size of ( No way you go look for this data if you need it )!

Over 800 applicants from all over the world applied for cohort 3 , these startups are either operating in KSA or planning to expand in KSA . Only 30 were chosen and we are one of them .

The 12 week program starting in a few days aims to accelerate the growth of the selected startups and help the founders find best solutions for their existing problems ( or that's what we hope to get :D )

This founder based program will include multiple intense training sessions covering topics like market study , product development , talent development , business strategy , growth hacking , finance ,marketing and more . More details on the program can be found here .

That's what they said on the website , so why do? we really want to join ? Prestige ? You are thinking it but no, really , why do we need this ?

1. We need to know if our product is doing ok in formal boring words ( validate the strength of the product )
2. Learn how to look appealing to investors meaning : know the right metrics and how to? measure them .?
3. Connect with mentors and corporate and industry experts (obviously!).
4. Access a network of international , regional and local investors .
5. Get new potential customers through the media coverage and exposure of the event (fancy way of saying YAY free customer acquisition ) .
6. Connect with fellow entrepreneurs and work together on integrated solutions to create a stronger product that serves a larger market (partnerships , integrations and lots of inspiration ).?
7. Develop team skills through the intense training sessions provided ( take them out of their comfort zone ) .

Sometimes when you are busy working you get consumed by day to day tasks and as a founder it is essential to take a step back from time to time and look at the bigger picture again .?

It is an honor for Arzag Plus to be one of the Saudi startups participating in the cohort and representing one of the largest and fastest growing industries F&B , in hopes to achieve our planned growth and become one of the main players in the technology sector that serves SMEs.

Our goals are aligned with the Kingdom's 2030 plan to enhance the quality of life by supporting local businesses and SMEs operating in KSA and using technology to create a full solution ecosystem .
