Our Second Mercury Retrograde Season: Are you feeling it yet?

From August 7 to August 28, 2024, Mercury will be in retrograde, first in the earthy and practical Virgo for nine days, then in the bold and vibrant Leo for the following two weeks.

As the retrograde begins on August 7, Mercury joins Venus in Virgo. This celestial meeting will have us feeling much more critical of ourself and others, making us more judgmental or prone to misinterpret constructive feedback as harsh criticism. It’s a time for really looking at our own behaviour, our own ways of being especially when it comes to how we show love and care.?

Again watch for that negative self-talk creeping in. Use these energies to really see where the inner work is needed when it comes to loving and supporting yourself.

On a practical level double-check communications and have backup plans ready.

As Mercury retrogrades into Leo, stirring our egos and potentially leading to fiery conflicts. Watch for that Leo pride being at play, not just in your own actions but in the actions and language of others.?

Creativity might seem blocked, leaving you feeling uninspired. Watch for writers block around this time.?
