Our Route 66 Challenge Summary

After a few days of well-earned rest and recuperation, we are taking the time to reflect on what has been a massively successful charity challenge for Harris + Co and Goodall Brazier.

Just over four weeks ago, we joined forces and set out on our mission to run, walk or cycle the entire length of Route 66 throughout February. It was the ultimate test of endurance and resolve for our brave athletes, who have battled wind, rain, snow and everything else in order to bank some miles.

Our main goal was to cover 3,940km in February, or in other words, the length of Route 66. We’re incredibly proud to announce that our athletes covered 5,642km, absolutely smashing our target and then some!

Also, at the time of writing this, we can confirm that we have reached our target of raising ￡3,940 for Leeds South & East Foodbank and other fantastic causes in the area.

Everyone who took part in this challenge has been incredible, and we want to highlight some of those who really have gone above and beyond throughout February. What an effort!

A thank you from all of us

We wanted to do our bit during these challenging times to give back to those in need, as well as challenging ourselves physically and mentally, and we’re delighted that we’ve been able to do that with this challenge. It is also proof of the power of collaboration, with two executive search firms competing in similar sectors and marketplaces joining together to make a real difference.

From both Harris + Co and Goodall Brazier, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has taken the time to read about our challenge, donate, or show their support, no matter how big or small.
