Our “Rolling mill – Open Day” was a success!
BORGO CHIESE (TN). We welcomed more than thirty delegates from various Italian steel mills to our headquarters for a visit to discovery our solutions. They had the chance to learn more about the features of our solutions and to see first-hand the numerous robotic cells we develop for the rolling mill units of steel producers all over the world.
The big star was the cooling bed sampling robot called PolyTEST, a new and recently patented solution added to the range of robots for sampling long rolled products.
After an introduction to Polytec’s automation, robotics, and intralogistics solutions, participants were taken on a tour through the various projects under construction.
A broad overview of Polytec solutions was presented. Visitors had a close look at the long product sample cutting robot, PolyTEST, as well as tagging and marking robots, palletising, and packaging robots, and impressive meltshop robots and automation panels.
“This initiative has been very well received, and we are enthusiastic about it. The open days we organise are valuable opportunities to exchange ideas, from which we can draw interesting insights to improve our systems and develop new solutions. We are pleased to be an active part in the development of a network that aims to establish new connections and strengthen relationships with a view to the continuous improvement of the supply chain,” commented Omar Bazzoli , Polytec’s Sales Director.
