Our recruitment marketing meetups

We held the first in a series of 4 recruitment marketing meetups in Belfast on Thursday 2nd March at Clockwise Belfast.

The theme of the first event was 'Workplaces of the Future' and our guests were:

• Paul Black - CEO of Alpha Office Furniture
• Rob Rees - Head of Culture & People Development at Scileads
• Colm Lavery - Head of Estates Development at Queen's University Belfast
• Fiona Rooney - Managing Director at Ipsos Northern Ireland
• Rachel McMillan - General Manager, Clockwise Belfast

This was the first in a series of 4 meetups that we are hosting between March and June 2023, each focusing on a different theme.

Workplaces of the Future

Our first event looked at 'Workplaces of the Future' and we talked about the change in working practices since the Covid-19 pandemic and how that was influencing the design of workplaces across a range of different sectors.

The conversation covered shared working spaces like Clockwise Belfast, the work being done in the education sector and even the move to fully remote working in the case of software company, Scileads.

Attracting Candidates

The second event in the series takes place on Thursday 6th April at Clockwise Belfast and looks at 'Attracting Candidates".

As well as hearing from companies who have had success in recent years with their recruitment marketing efforts we will also hear from our "Student Voice" panel.

This will give guests at the event the opportunity to hear from students about to embark on their career journey.

• How do they research job roles?
• What are they looking for in the organisations they want to work for?
• What are their attitudes to hybrid and remote working?
