Our Purpose is Greater than Ourselves!

I recently got to hear Inky Johnson speak at our 2018 Global TapRooT? Summit describe how his purpose in life reignited following the loss of the use of his arm following a tackle the went wrong on the football field. A tackle that he had performed time after time with no injury. Two of his perspectives sunk so deep into true purpose of life and the cause and effect that you have on others, that I felt that I needed to pay them forward.

"Your Purpose is a lot greater than yourself!"

"Our purpose and mission are connected to past experience!"

Do you see it? Do you see the cause and effect? Do you see the relationship between your connection to others and their purpose in life? Knowing that people are wired differently to react to change, there is another thought that strikes home to the development of purpose.

"The same boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's not about the circumstance, but rather what you are made of."

Problem is that we often do not get to see the end result of someone's past experience with us and how it possibly shapes their purpose, sustains their purpose or in some cases have no change when it could have helped them grow. That person then impacts the people that they meet. With that in mind, let every interaction that you have with a every person have a higher purpose of impact.
