Our People - Natasha Humphries

I live and work in Halifax, and have 8 years’ experience in the insurance industry.

One of the things I enjoy most about my career is getting to know my clients and building a relationship with them. Oftentimes in our tech-driven world there is a lack of real human interaction. I enjoy being able to bring back a personalized approach to my industry.

While completing my undergraduate degree in Victoria, BC I met so many people from all over the world. I developed a love for cooking, and eating that continues to inspire me to this day. When I’m not chasing around my two rambunctious children I can probably be found cozied up with a book (and a lap-cat) on my recliner, or doing another 1,000 piece puzzle with my husband to add to our collection. I love to travel and I have been to Las Vegas, New York, Orlando, Nassau, Freeport, Punta Cana and most Canadian provinces.

When I’m on vacation I enjoy going for walks to explore the area, visiting a museum, or having a dip in the ocean. In the future I would like to travel to Europe to visit some of the places that inspired some of my favorite authors.

Favorite Place to Visit: Ingonish, Cape Breton – I love the scenery of the highlands and how it changes with every season.
