Our People - Clinical Team Leader

For our first edition of 2024, we are starting off the year celebrating the contributions of our Clinical Team Leader and Oncology Clinical Project Manager, Natalie Parkinson and Seeing Eye Dog, Omri.

I first joined Nucleus Network whist studying my Bachelor of Biomedical Science. Nucleus Network opened my eyes to the drug development world beyond the lab.

I saw the care and safety of the trial participants and knew Nucleus Network was where I wanted to build my career.

Starting my journey in the Clinical Operations team I learnt the logistical considerations required to run a successful clinical trial. Armed with this knowledge I entered the Project Management team with an eye for operations.

It has been extremely rewarding seeing novel therapeutics move through the Nucleus Network phase I clinic and onto market.? I have especially enjoyed the opportunity to work on our patient trials, seeing firsthand what an impact they can make to improve the lives of those suffering from disease.

It is such a privilege to be part of the Nucleus Network team. We bring together vast experience and expertise to conduct world class early-phase clinical trials.

My current role as a Clinical Team Leader allows me to mentor and guide team members who in some cases are just beginning their clinical research journey.

Omri - Seeing Eye Dog

In 2023 myself and Nucleus Network welcomed a fluffy team member to our Melbourne head office. Omri is a Seeing Eye Dog in training who I have the privilege to care for. Omri has been training, socializing and learning all the skills to hopefully become a Seeing Eye Dog for a client who is blind or has low vision. Omri is arguably everyone’s favourite co-worker and enjoys the office life.

We have loved having the opportunity to support Omri and Seeing Eye Dogs as they too look to improve the lives of those with blindness and low vision.
