Our path forward

This morning, we presented our five-year strategic plan to the financial community at our Investor Day. In this dynamic virtual session, Bart Demosky, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer; Jean-Christophe Gallagher, Executive Vice-President for Services, Support and Corporate Strategy; and I shared our vision and five-year plan for Bombardier as we begin our journey as a pure-play business aviation company.

 I invite you to watch the recording of Investor Day, where we explain in detail how our focus on the following four priorities will make Bombardier a more resilient and profitable company:  

1.   Capturing the value of the Global 7500 ramp-up

2.   Executing on our productivity and cost reduction initiative

3.   Growing our Aftermarket services business; and

4.   Deleveraging our balance sheet

We are confident that our strategy is the right one to ensure our future as a global leader.

 Within the coming weeks, the Senior Leadership Team and I will be meeting with leaders across the company to explain the plan in detail. In turn, the information will be cascaded to all employees to ensure everyone understands our strategy and knows their role in supporting our success.

 In addition, we will begin a regular cadence of communications through our intranet, Bnet, and our weekly e-newsletter to keep you posted on our progress and to help build alignment to the valuable role you play in our success. I encourage you to stay informed, and for managers to bring this information to their non-wired team members.

 I recognize that the last five years have been challenging for all. However, with our full attention and alignment now focused on executing our strategy, together, we will unlock the tremendous value in Bombardier’s portfolio. With our unmatched product lineup and our talented and skilled workforce working together, I am confident in our ability to deliver and in a bright future for Bombardier.
