OUR OWN PROJECT 2025 AGENDA

Racists have devised a plan for their future prosperity and preservation of power. For African Americans, there's a clarion call for us to coalesce to create and fortify our own small businesses, our own doctors and lawyers, our own laborers, our own community security, our own financial institutions (e.g., banks, insurance companies, investment firms, etc.), our own telecommunications enterprise, our own tech, our own retail, our own food suppliers, our own manufacturing, our own housing communities, etc.! It can be done via coordinated, committed, strategic, and intentional efforts, but we must come together to do it! It's been done before under harsher political regimes and more adverse and oppressive socio-economic conditions.

Black Wall Street (Tulsa, Oklahoma), The Bronzeville (Chicago, Illinois), Seneca Village (New York), Sweet Auburn (Atlanta, Georgia), and Historical Black Colleges and Universities, are just a few shining examples of thriving/self sustaining Black communities that existed and thrived in America under extreme racist conditions.

Throughout early American history, White racists have enacted policies to pillage, thwart, and take over some of those aforementioned historic all Black communities. Those historic African American communities stand as esteemed cairns of economic ingenuity, grit, sacrifice, success in wealth creation, community building, and empowerment of the Black community. But those triumphs only happened when African Americans decided to come together on one accord. African Americans can no longer allow our fate and narrative to be controlled by those who hate and despise us; to allow racists to navigate our future, is to relinquish our future to the wannabe despots, crooked politicians, and cruel oligarchs that hate us to the core! Racist folks hate us being in their proximity, but when we demonstrated that we can come together and thrive on our own, they burned down Black Wall Street and they stole Seneca Village via eminent domain and renamed that Black neighborhood Central Park, one of New York City's prime real estate communities.

I was born before the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which means, prior to that landmark legislation, it was permissible for racist White business owners, law enforcement, politicians, and others in power positions to routinely discriminate, harm, and demean Black Americans without consequence for their racist actions. Today, there are older White racist men and women who grew up in an era, prior to the Civil Rights Act of 1964, who are beholden to extreme racist and separatist ideology. Today, these throwback older racists are doctors, lawyers, judges, teachers, university officials, religious leaders, politicians, law enforcement, business owners, etc., that hold leadership roles that allow them to continue spewing hate and oppression! These hate mongering racists- from hillbillies to corporate titans, from lawyers to politicians, from doctors to labor leaders, etc. -brazenly promulgate and advance racist extremism under the guise of conservatism, religion, nationalism, and MAGA patriotism!

White racists are scared of losing any power structure they are use to having and will do ANYTHING to protect their power base, and a nefarious character like Trump is their savior...their champion...their knight in shining armor...their Great White Hope. Black Americans must come together to become just as vigilant in building and protecting our power base in politics, education, labor, finance, law enforcement, community development, the courts, and the workforce overall!

As a collective, Black America must begin developing our own short term/long term strategic project plan to reimagine and recreate Black Wall Street and Seneca Village for our future prosperity. We need our great Black thought leaders to coalesce to create our own BEST Plan (Black Economic Self-Efficacy Thesis) to ensure our best future, such effort is needed statim! To devolve and default to being stoic, stagnant, slothful, sedentary, and somnolent is not an option for African Americans.
