Our next chapter: Accenture Song

Our next chapter: Accenture Song

Since the founding of Bionic in 2012, Anne and I have always intentionally focused on embedding resilience and adaptability into how we designed the company -? through the formation of our culture, scaling of our model, and productizing our offering - the Growth OS?.??

There was always a reason Anne and I did not put our names on the front door when we built this company; we put a name on the door to represent our impact, which was making our people and partners better, smarter, faster – to be, Bionic. It's always been about this purpose. We did this by building an offering that was embedded as the core capability of our work. As we scaled the Growth OS into our vision of a radically differentiated, one-of-one offering, part of the architecting of the company was curating a culture that was inseparable from the offering, but separable from the brand.???

We never anticipated that a pandemic would accelerate the need for the Growth OS and our base case in scaling the business, but that's exactly what happened. As we grew, we knew we wanted a partner to take the Growth OS and scale our vision globally. We believed and manifested that Accenture Song (formerly Interactive) would be the right organization to work with us to maximize the impact the Growth OS can have with our partners.???

The day we closed the transaction on June 29th, 2021, we agreed we had to stand with “no daylight” integrity with and for each other and live out our prediction that this acquisition would catalyze the future of who we wanted to become. Last week marked our first-year anniversary of the acquisition of Bionic and the Growth OS with Accenture Song. We can say with this same integrity, that all of the beliefs going into the transaction have manifested. We continue to grow at a pace that exceeds our expectations, and we continue to accelerate the core of our business and most importantly, the scaling of our impact in the world.??

?As anticipated in this acquisition journey, much of our future ambitions would be accelerated, and so, in service of advancing the Growth OS’s integration into Accenture and impact to our partners – the next chapter in our story will transition the Bionic brand to Accenture Song. Today, July 12th, is our last day operating under the Bionic banner. The Bionic team and the Growth OS, are now a core component of the Product Innovation team at Accenture Song, where we work with clients to meet the ever-evolving needs of their customers, so they can be resilient and adaptable by driving new areas of growth and relevance. This is elevating our core offering, the Growth OS and the culture that empowers it, at scale into our vision, with Accenture Song. It is an extraordinary experience to work with such an accomplished acquirer and scaler of businesses in the Accenture team, and we are deeply grateful for their trust in us through this journey.???

It has been our greatest honor to build Bionic into an organization that is durable and resilient enough to withstand, adapt, and grow through brand changes, leadership changes, and office changes. We are impossibly proud of our team and the Accenture Song team that continues to curate, scale, and create opportunities to grow the Growth OS globally.?This experience lives out the exact capability that we are driving towards in our clients - growth and transformation, which is the heart of what we do, and the heart of how we performed this past year, shoulder to shoulder with the Accenture team.??

Bionic’s mission has been to ignite growth revolutions, and as we move the Growth OS into the next chapter, our vision grows with us as we are scaling our capabilities with Accenture to offer an end-to-end platform to move clients from programs to systems to an Always-On Growth state.??
