Our New COO: Gabe Deale

I am delighted to announce that Gabe Deale has joined AKA Identity as our Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role, Gabe has been a driving force behind our efforts to maintain and surpass AKA's momentum in the areas of sales, finance, and operations.

While I love to talk about his extensive experience as an early leader and rising star at Accuvant / Optiv , Cylance Inc. , and HiddenLayer , what I'm most proud of is his innate ability to complement our executive team's strengths while adding to our culture. Gabe is a continuous learner, generous with his wisdom, a trusted friend others want to work with, and with the mental horsepower to get things done.

Gabe served as advisor before joining us full-time, and after near-daily requests for his time and assistance, it became clear on all fronts that Gabe would become an integral part of the team. I still remember a late night during BlackHat where Gabe, as an advisor, went back to our AirBnB to work on our financial model when many would have deferred for later.

At AKA Identity , we're building the next AI-powered platform for Identity and Access Management (IAM). As it turns out, Gabe's prior experience with AI + Security startups like Cylance and HiddenLayer made it considerably easier for him to model how our journey would go, validate our momentum and jump in guns blazing.
