We've been promising and teasing this for a very long time, but our newest App is officially available for you to start using! This has been in development for the last 12 months and we can’t wait for you to start using it and see what we have been working so hard on. We officially released this new App on the 11th November, and have already had a great take up so far, which has been great to see!

Big shoutout to our developers, they have absolutely smashed it as always, the work they have put into this, as with everything else, has been amazing, and although it hasn’t been an easy process, we are delighted to be ready to share it with you, to boost our range of award-winning compliance services!

Overview of our NEW GB Domestic Hours App:

As far as we are aware, we are the only company in the UK who has digitalised this service. We really believe this the next major advancement in the industry in improving and digitalising compliance, in an area which was relatively neglected with the old W20 books, or other paper logs. We decided to develop this service around 18 months ago, after many conversations both with customers, and internally about the difficulties people were having recording and managing their GB Domestic Hours, and also maintaining effective data records.

This new service works in the existing CheckedSafe portal, however you do not need to be an existing customer of our other services to use this new feature. The driver/user records his hours on the CheckedSafe App, either by a retrospective entry or there is the option to record and start the events live as you go along. If the driver enters his hours and they breach the rule groups that have been set up in the back-office portal, this will create an infringement. The user on the App will have the option to enter reasons for the infringement (e.g emergency work) which will all be visible to the managers in the back-office portal. We have worked hard to ensure the App is incredibly user-friendly and simple to use for all users, to make this complicated topic as simple as possible.

In the back-office portal, all mangers will have access to all data entries, summaries of users hours, access to all infringements and explanations, in which you can choose to accept/reject the reason for creating an infringement. You have the option to manually create and enter data for users if needed (e.g if a user's phone broke) , you can easily see which users are/aren't recording their hours, and even send messages to the users via the App if needed.
