Our Mission

14 months ago, I left one of the largest wealth management firms in the U.S. and from there, Tanis Financial Group (TFG) was born. Don’t get me wrong it was fun to do all of the branding items like pick out fonts, colors, and design our logo. But, what really mattered to me was what were going to stand for, represent, and use as our guidepost when working with clients? ?

In all honesty it took me several months to really nail down what impact I wanted myself and my team to make. I always joke with clients that I have my best ideas at two am and that is exactly when our mission clicked in my brain. Thankfully, I now sleep with a notepad next to my bed so in the middle night I was able to scribble down:?

To help highly ambitious women and their families use financial planning to help build their dream life.?

Although it is short, sweet, and simple the impact and guidance that this one line provides myself and my team is immense. ?

Although my primary focus is helping women build wealth and manage their finances I?also work with their spouses and children. Why? Just speaking to the woman in the relationship is like doing a puzzle with only half of the pieces. I want to make sure that I have a great relationship with and understand the finances for the entire family so we can focus on building out their dreams.?

It is also the mission that I live by in my personal life. A big portion of this mission is building YOUR dream life. During the pandemic we spent so much time on social media watching the lives of others that it quickly became hard to differentiate what we wanted for ourselves versus what we wanted just because someone on Instagram had something. I focus on building my true dream life and business in the same way that I encourage my clients to do so.?
