Our Lives Are Mirrors Of Our Thoughts

The external world is like a giant mirror that reflects our conscious and unconscious thinking clearly and accurately.” So what is the mirror in your life reflecting back to you?

Some people spend a lifetime trying in vain to change the external world surrounding them, hoping their lives will improve. But, unfortunately, this seldom works because it’s usually not the external conditions that need to change. Instead, their thoughts, beliefs, and feelings need to change.?

It has been said that anything that impacts you has been created to teach you something. And every person in your life reflects an aspect of yourself back to you.

You probably heard the saying, “Your perception of me is a reflection of you?” The idea is that everything you experience in life reflects your thinking and beliefs—for example, your careers, relationships, home life, and so on. Therefore, you can see why examining your thoughts and beliefs is crucial.

Albert Einstein said: “We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them.”

Charlene Belitz and Meg Lundstrom, authors of?The Power of Flow: Practical Ways to Transform Your Life with Meaningful Coincidence, said, “Think of the outer environment as a mirror of your inner environment. When you see something outside, such as an event or situation, look inside yourself for the reflection, the parallel, the connection.”

I don't attempt to change the mirror when I want to change something in my life. Instead, I look into the mirror and figure out how I can think about things differently. Then I adjust my actions.

If you are unhappy with something in your life, pay attention to your thoughts and reflections in your mirror. By taking the proper corrective measures—shifting your thinking and changing your behavior—you can create the life you desire.
