A series especially for new and aspiring coaches to help them navigate the world of coaching
In January this year, Simone Sweeney completed her coaching qualification with the AoEC and stepped out into the world as a new coach, and now business owner. After a very successful corporate career working with such giants as Apple and Lego, she discovered there was a minefield of information, ideas, and should-and-should-nots to navigate. One thing she found extremely helpful was listening to the Association for Coaching Podcast Channel. Inspired by this and her own experiences, Simone approached the podcast team with an idea for a podcast series specifically aimed at helping new and aspiring coaches by providing them with a guide to the essentials of becoming a professional coach.
Simone is joined by seasoned coaches and thought leaders to explore the questions and considerations they wish they knew when starting out:

Michelle Lucas and Paul Sanbar
A guest on our new podcast series, Michelle Lucas was joined by Paul Sanbar earlier this year, to write an article for the January edition of Coaching Perspective Magazine to explain a new digital tool they developed as supervisors, to support coaches in discovering their coaching approach.
In the article, they explain the process of using Kwirkeez, people’s experiences of using it and some potential hazards to avoid.
