It wouldn’t be wrong if we say that the 21st century has been dominated by online businesses. There is no doubt that our lives are dependent on technology. We have become more tech savvy. Whether it’s calling a taxi, ordering food or buying groceries we tend to do it with the help of a few clicks. E-Commerce Websites aren’t just an effective purchasing platform in the current market, they are necessary.
E-Commerce is known to be less costly for both the business and the consumers with many successful brands starting from an imagination in a bedroom. Becoming a business owner is becoming easier year on year with things like Shopify, Amazon, Facebook and with this the market is becoming more crowded. What separates brands and owners is usually the level of success that we are judged on.
When I worked client side and partnered with various agencies I was really frustrated that the accounts would often spend out, fresh ideas were not being brought to the table at review meetings and the account performance was way off targets. I knew I could do a better job - I just didn’t have the time to run the account full time. After a trip to Thailand I thought to myself I am fed up of cowboys who lack fashion industry experience and the understanding of every changing trends.
IGM was born - we are an agency that specialises in a vibrant market - in-fact we don’t want to be seen as an agency at all, but as an extension of your team. One of the things I have loved since starting IGM is hearing brand owners story and the journey they have taken to get to where they are, IGM help all types of businesses - some that are just starting out on their journey or brands that already have a story and identity but need help spending their ad spend more efficiently and increase ROAS and sales numbers. They all have one thing in common - how social media & technology has helped them build a brand and generate sales.
As a business owner I rely heavily on technology to not only run my business but also to run my life, something I am very aware of and I try to when I can have a ‘technology detox’ every so often. I am trying to get lost in a book rather than my mobile phone.
I still find it amazing that using our techniques we are able to show our clients products to someone who fits a certain purchasing behaviour who is half way across the world, sitting on their sofa watching TV. Within 3 clicks that client can purchase a £95 jacket or a £350 handbag at the advertising cost of £3.
IGM are very particular with who we work with, we only work with brands who fit our ethos and we feel are a brand of tomorrow. With our processes we put in place we are able to guarantee a 4/1 ROAS on all paid social and PPC campaigns.
