Our Job is more than fixing and selling vans at this time of year
At the Volkswagen Van Centre Glasgow we regularly raise charity funds on our monthly dress-down Fridays, the funds are donated by the staff on site and nominations for the proceeds are also suggested by the team. Kate, Fraser, Ross and Graeme, are preparing our latest donations, as we recognise the fantastic work that many charities and organisations do, It's our small way of making what we do more than just a job, as we seek to impact those around us, who need our support, We also offer staff paid charity days where we can impact and support Charities, the requests for this are varied as an example Ed Wilkinson one of our transport team spent the day teaching bass guitar to some young folk at a local youth event,
This year our Fundraising has been varied, From; Childline, St Andrews Hospice; Fare Scotland; Anthony Nolan Trust; Hospice, and Alzheimer's Scotland amongst some of the charities we have supported this year.
Can I encourage any readers to run your own charity days and would also encourage the support of some of the above charities, Please feel free to find your own worth cause as there are many
Our Job is more than fixing and selling vans at this time of year, I am extremely proud of the support of the team and look forward to 2024 to be able to support many more worthy causes.
