When was the last time you were completely guilt-free? Has this particular emotion stopped you to give 100% to a work or a relationship?
Every day we make many decisions that impact emotional wellbeing. Because there are always two sides to the coin, our choices bring tradeoffs that can cause internal conflicts. For example,
When we keep focusing on what we could miss, we miss the fun and happiness in what we are doing now. Our guilt increases, and if our choice doesn't result in a superior outcome, we regret our decisions and become stuck. A quick tip is to ask the purpose of making each choice. Our minds can go back in time if we want, and we can imagine and feel the consequences of every choice. Asking the purpose of a choice helps us understand the deep meaning, and sometimes that’s all we need. For example,

Staying at home
In the above example, the deeper purpose in both cases is to Get Happiness. Living a confusing life can impact our physical, mental and emotional well-being. Having the clarity of why we want to do things is essential to stay balanced and connected. What if you asked
Let’s think about our guilt about something and how it’s impacting our life and those of others around us. If a choice is a mistake, we can only learn from it; if the choice is getting us the outcomes we want, we should keep doing them. Like time, the only direction we can move towards is in the future. So, let's not let our guilt stop us from giving our 100% because we there will always be consequences or taking an action or not.
