The Challenge - FAI for Battery Systems in Asia on short notice

We recently faced a complex FAI audit for Battery Systems produced by major Tier 1 suppliers in Hyderabad, India, and Zhuhai, China, for Metro Trains produced in Italy. The main crucial points were:

• A tight timeline of 3 weeks from the customer’s initial communication
• The involvement of multiple stakeholders located in Europe and Asia
• Complex product requirements

To address this, Lean Dynamics deployed a specialized team of engineers and auditors who worked closely with both the Train Manufacturer in Italy and Battery Suppliers across Asia. This approach ensured:

• Seamless integration between all involved parties
• The expedition of the FAI process to meet the customer’s stringent deadlines
• Validation of documentation necessary for FAI readiness

The Outcome

Through precise coordination and timely execution, the FAI was completed within the required timeline, and the first delivery of samples was made as per customer deadlines.
