Our Girls Are Off to University!

Seven years ago, a group of young girls, survivors of the violent conflict that ravaged Borno State, walked through the gates of the Lafiya Sarari Learning Center. Burdened with trauma, fear, and loss, many of them had never stepped foot inside a formal school before. Yet, through accelerated learning, mentorship, and holistic psychosocial support provided by Neem Foundation, these girls not only caught up with their peers but exceeded expectations, achieving a 100% success rate in their secondary school final exams. Today, these 31 resilient young women are taking a monumental step forward—they are heading to university.
