Here we go. The third edition of my experimental newsletter.
Thanks for the great feedback. Makes me happy that so many of you like this format and are gleaning some value from it.
Cities Today Series
Part four of my 10-part series on how to avoid smart city pitfalls is online now. I discuss the importance of developing and agreeing on a vision for your city. In addition, I encourage the development of rigorous governance to support the execution of the vision. Read HERE
The Urban Complex Podcast
I was honored to be a guest on Chris Richardson and Dominic Papa's new podcast. They have a great style that focuses on ensuring that their guests are giving advice that is meaningful to listeners. I also love the way they debrief together at the end. Of course, as you can imagine we go deep on best practices in city innovation. Listen HERE:
Refresh to Reichental.com
Anyone who has visited my personal website recently will note how dated it has become in terms of format and content. With up to 15,000 visits per day, I was embarrassed for letting it languish.
I've finally gotten around to giving it a complete makeover. It now has around 200 articles, videos, podcasts and more that I've developed over the last few years and it has a new clean interface that is mobile responsive. Check it out HERE.
Cryptocurrency Demystified
Finally, the recent uptick in interest in cryptocurrency still has many people stumped about how it works and how cryptos like Bitcoin have value. Fortunately, I have created a popular, easy-to-follow online video course. Watch HERE:
Thank you for reading. There's so much more to come.

4 年My country of Bangladesh is currently playing around with the idea of smart cities. I myself I'm looking forward to contributing to the planning, and your article, while brief, addresses the two key components required for smart cities. Cryptocurrencies are currently banned in Bangladesh. But that is how they started almost everywhere else on the planet. If your next article can surround the reasons governments finally relented and allowed their citizens to own and trade in cryptocurrencies, that would be great. Maybe a list of best policies so far incorporated. Already started the course. I'm sure it will be quite informative. Thanks for the update, Jonathan Reichental, Ph.D. Please keep them coming.
