Our First Place of Battle
Andrea Nicole McGibbon

I spent years, as a beleiver,?struggling, condemning and beating up on myself over?ridiculous decisions, excessive reactions, unbelief, and doing wild and unwise things.?I did not know or understand that my?issues and my fight originated in my mind.?There is no visible without the invisible.
Our minds are like gateways, through which seeds of thought, both evil and good,?come into our lives. In addition, the enemy blinds?our minds and clouds our souls to divine truth, revelation and light, making us more inclined to?agree, identify with, and invest in lies, deceptions and fabrications.?So, what do we do to halt this sabotage? First, we must recognize it and come to our senses.?Our first?place of battle is in our?mind.?
“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." 2 Corinthians 4:4 NIV
In the past, we may have shun or avoided the invisible and the spiritual, but?such a posture is?disadvantageous to us, though quite pleasing to the?enemy. We don't want the enemy to be our source or system of education either, so we must decisively choose to partner with God and His detailed?plan for each of us. We need His knowledge?to succeed, and to understand?the landscape, the laws of life, and what we need to do. It is our?responsibility and advantage to posture ourselves to learn from God and be led by Him.?
If you have not yet done so, I encourage you to get a copy of my most recent book - 'WOO-The Womb of Obedience.' This gift from God made the difference for me, and I know it will also help you foster fellowship with God.
Shalom!
