Welcome to our very first newsletter! We're thrilled to share the exciting story of BDE, where we've gone from designing tires and greenfield tire plants to achieving remarkable engineering successes.?

Our Journey Begins

Our story is a testament to innovation, dedication, hard work, and a tireless pursuit of excellence. From our humble beginnings to our current global footprint, every step has been fueled by a passion for engineering and a commitment to pushing boundaries.?

We started small back in 2010, but today, we've grown to have a global impact, thanks to our expert know-how team and unwavering commitment to revolutionizing the tire industry.

Back in 2012, we took our first bold step with a greenfield project. From that moment on, we've been on an exciting mission to improve the tire industry.

Imagine this:?we now have more than 1000 different SKUs, have registered 200 unique community designs and patents, and have designed more than 50 tire factories across the globe. We are the only officially certified tire plant design company. BDE subsidiary companies are bd testing and wd racing. It's been quite a ride!?

Our roots are firmly planted in Finland, where a deep commitment to sustainability is at the core of everything we do. Our team is comprised of over 70 experts, engineers, and researchers.

We're not just another engineering company – we're a specialist consulting firm with a mission to drive positive change. Through constant research and development (R&D), we're guiding our tire industry partners in adopting cleaner, more sustainable practices. We're tackling the pressing issue of climate change head-on, and are dedicated to bringing the circular economy concept to the tire industry.

We're genuinely proud to share that 20 out of the top 25 tire manufacturers have chosen to be our customers. It's a testament to our dedication and their trust in us.

Our goal is to cut down on emissions. We collaborate hand in hand with top tire manufacturers worldwide to minimize the environmental footprint of their production operations. Together, we're making a difference.

Black Donuts Services

Today, our services cover everything from creating brand-new tire plants to enhancing existing ones, tire development expertise, tire testing, certification, optimizing production, and refining supply chains. We offer services for new and existing products, whether it's for passenger cars (PCR), trucks (TBR), off-road vehicles (OTR), electric vehicles (EV) or agricultural machinery. From the initial concept to real-world road tests, we've got you covered, all under one roof.

We're involved in every stage of a tire's lifecycle – from manufacturing and efficient use of materials to product recyclability. It's our way of contributing to a greener future. Our research and development are all about finding ways to recycle old tires in our processes. We're also working on ways to gather these discarded tires. Besides recycling, we assist our partners in reducing emissions by designing advanced manufacturing plants with cutting-edge automated machinery.

Black Donuts Team

The Black Donuts team started with 12 people, and now we've grown to over 70 strong, experienced engineers. We take pride in what we do, aiming to inspire innovation every step of the way.

Our engineers go beyond just making tires and designing greenfield plants; they craft experiences that enhance the connection between vehicles and the road like never before.

Our team of dedicated experts have the skills to handle every aspect of tire manufacturing and technology, spanning design, testing, processes, material selection, and equipment. Efficiency and energy consumption are the single essential themes in our work, but also the use of more efficient processes, lower emissions fuel or the pyrolyzing process. We offer complete tire solutions. We can design the new plants with a strong focus on how the waste will be handled.

Our ability to transform our partner's vision and turn it into reality sets us apart. Whether it's designing and building a tire plant, initiating production, or crafting innovative products, we're here to bring your ideas to life. We collaborate closely with our clients, ensuring that every step in the production process aligns seamlessly with their goals.
