Our first listed company

Since the BCB opened its doors in summer 2014, we've supported all manner of quality British firms with their UAE market entry plans. To date, 26 companies have joined the incubator and we've also seen six successful graduations with client companies leaving the programme to set up fully independent operations in the UAE at the end of their BCB tenure.

It's client number 24 that I'm keen to talk about here.

Crimson Tide PLC is the first London Stock Exchange listed company to join the BCB's incubator ranks. As they announced to the market at the beginning of February - see https://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail/TIDE/13114927.html - we're helping them set up in the UAE and we're also providing them with Trade Services support to identify and meet potential clients in the region.

Strangely enough, client #25 is also on the LSE - they come along like buses! - so to have two listed companies on board is a major endorsement of the BCB model given the extra due diligence & regulatory scrutiny involved.

As for Crimson Tide (and I have found myself calling them Red October by accident), they are just the sort of smart, young, innovative UK tech company that the BCB scheme was established to support in the UAE. We're looking forward to playing a small part in their global expansion plans.

Congrats Joe and your team. And good luck to Crimson Tide/Red October - the UAE is a great place to do business. (and is that a beard, Joe? Clearly much too long since we caught up!)

Well done Joe and the BCB team - you must have a thing for submarines (emerging from the deep) Crimson Tide & Red October both great submarine films by the way just avoid Das Boot

Hi Joe, Amazing work, its great for the companies to have an organisation like BCB supporting them in UAE.
