OUR EVENTS FOR THE FIRST QUARTER OF THIS NEW YEAR

The new year has already begun, and at LICENSING MAGAZINE (LM) and The European Animation Journal (EAJ), we are already super active in producing new content, planning events we'll attend in the coming months, agreeing on new media partnerships for this year, and much more.

Among our main objectives for Licensing Magazine, #gaming is one of the trend topics we will study more than others. Regarding market areas, #Asia is a priority, and we have significantly increased the number of events to attend that will allow us to explore this region! In addition, we have included a regular column "Focus on Asia" in every issue of Licensing Magazine, promoted in partnership with Licensing China . Follow us to have a bridge with this region!

For The European Animation Journal, which was born only last June, the goal is obviously to increase its exposure, distribution, and notoriety, and I'd say we're already on an excellent path! (Follow its dedicated page to learn more!)

But let's go in order and focus on what we'll do from now until the end of March this year, as each quarter is always very rich for us, and this one will be no exception!

January 21: We start our tour by participating in the Press Day of the The Toy Fair . On this same day, we will launch the digital version of the Winter issue of Licensing Magazine! Stay Tuned!

January 22-23: We'll discover the latest #fashion trends for children at #Pitti Bimbo in Florence, organised by Pitti Immagine .

January 28 - February 1: We'll be at Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg, where we are Media Partners and Content Partners. In addition to having our paper magazines distributed all over the show floor, we will also have our usual stand at the West Entrance, Foyer Hall 12.0, right in front of the brand new License Lounge that will host the LicenseTalks we have co-organized, together with Licensing International and BRANDmate - B2B Networking Event . To learn more about the speakers and the panels of this special programme, I invite you to discover them at this link: https://www.spielwarenmesse.de/en/licensetalks/.

Among the speakers we will interview, I have the pleasure of mentioning Jack Day at The Insights Family , Helena Perheentupa from StrateDoo , Luka Okorn from OUTFIT7 , and Paolo Stefi and Rossella Piccini Corboud from TOAD CREATIVE STUDIOS . Insights, Trends and Previews. The LicenseTalks are a rich two-day program, on 29th and 30 January, not to be missed for all professionals attending the world's most important toy fair!

Late February: We finally return to the New York Toy Fair organised by the The Toy Association . Also here we are Media Partners.

Early March: We head to Bordeaux for #Cartoon Movie, organised by CARTOON . It is the main event to discover upcoming European film projects – this is where the planetary success #Flow took its first steps, and we can't miss it! We will be present at this event both with Licensing Magazine and European Animation Journal, as Media Partners.

Late March: To close the quarter, there's the event that distinguishes us in a unique way for the offer, quality, and richness of what we are able to propose and offer on the market, namely the Bologna Children’s Book Fair . I personally have the pleasure and honor of celebrating 25 years of service to this wonderful event this April, having developed all its special areas, from a small Rights Centre until a big Licensing Pavillon, nowadays set in the heart of the Book Fair. In this Hall, they co-exist together #Licensing, #Media and #Gaming, thanks to the development of the TV/Film Rights Centre and the brand-new Games Business Centre.

To learn more about the richness of this incredible show and understand why it is THE global leading event on content development and copyrights marketplace for children, teens and young adults, browse the website www.bolognachildrensbookfair.com

In particular, 2025 will be a very rich year in Bologna. Among the several projects we follow and organise, as Licensing Magazine we will be Media Partners but also organizers of the highly anticipated and well-attended International Kids Licensing Days, which is THE TRANSMEDIA PROGRAM par excellence of the BCBF, to talk about the evolution of content for children, teenagers, teens, and young adults through publishing, gaming, audiovisual, and of course licensing. Last year we welcomed over 45 international speakers, and we have high expectations to do even more this year!

We can't wait to welcome our friends to Bologna, in the rich Licensing pavilion that BM - Brands Media curates on behalf of BCBF, along with many new features that we will communicate with ad hoc content.

In April, new adventures begin that will take us to Asia, the Middle East, USA, Europe, and much more, but that's another story that we'll tell you soon!

In the meantime, follow us! And write to us at [email protected] to find out how to be present in the upcoming issues of our magazines, gain visibility through our media, and come to Bologna, if it's one of your unmissable annual stops, as it is for most of the industry!

Happy New Year to everyone!
