Our Dallas 'OGs' celebrate 8 years

Eight years ago, Jessica Warrior and Cassie Meeks entered a temporary office in Dallas with only a few tables and ‘SiteMinder’ printed and taped on the entrance door. ‘Start-up vibes’ oozed from the space where five employees were busy working away as they sat down for an interview. For the two of them, this screamed opportunity, growth, family and an experience of a lifetime.

Fast forward to today, and we celebrate their eight-year work anniversaries!

To mark this occasion, we had the opportunity to reminisce, celebrate and learn with Jessica and Cassie as they shared their journey, accomplishments and friendship with us.??

Meet Jessica, our Director of Customer Success and onboarding, who started her SiteMinder journey as an onboarding analyst and now ensures our customers are set up for success!?

When asked what keeps her excited about working for SiteMinder, Jessica says: “The people! I truly feel like I am part of a family here at SiteMinder. I have been here through getting engaged, then married, and having two children… It feels like home. I have made so many friends through my years here that will last a lifetime.”?

Stepping into the director role is one of her proudest achievements so far, Jessica said, highlighting that developing her leadership skills through many different mentors and experiences at SiteMinder was the golden ticket to her accomplishments.

And here’s Cassie, our Senior Director of Strategic Planning and Sales, who started her SiteMinder journey in Talent Acquisition, then moving into Regional Operations and Global Sales Strategy. Now, Cassie plans and executes on key initiatives that help grow our business in the USA.?

“This fast-paced, ever-changing, high growth atmosphere is super rewarding and it’s what I love most about turning on my computer,” said Cassie.

From coming in as an individual producer to now a leader, Cassie continues to take any and all opportunities that come her way for continual growth. Her advice for those thinking about joining the business? “Take the ball and run with it as far as you can, don’t underestimate your ability to grow at SiteMinder,” Cassie said.

Having begun their SiteMinder journeys together, Jessica and Cassie have formed a level of trust and transparency in their partnership that is hard to beat. From taking the employee tally from five to seven to then seeing it expand to one hundred in the first 12 months, Jessica and Cassie have been instrumental in the growth and culture of our Dallas office.?

Jessica on Cassie: “I remember my first day with Cassie. We clicked right away. I remember her being very friendly and outgoing - she still is! Over the years, Cassie has become the backbone of our region and someone I am able to really lean on.”?

Cassie on Jessica: “It’s been really fun going through our careers together at SiteMinder. She’s one of the people that really just ‘get it’ and I can always bounce ideas off of her. I feel she can do the same. She’s extremely personable and also has a calmness about her that makes you want to work with her. It’s good to have someone like Jess to be there with you along the journey.”?
